CONTEXT CO-FOUNDER TO RETIRE
London October 14th 2019 - Europe's leading technology market research company, CONTEXT, announced today that co-founder and joint CEO Jeremy Davies will be retiring from the company.
"After thirty-six years at the helm, it's time to take a step back," commented Davies. "CONTEXT has been my life's work, and I leave it ready and able to take on the new opportunities in our industry afforded by digitalisation and big data."
CONTEXT was founded in 1983 tracking sales and pricing across the exploding PC industry in the UK. Now active across the globe, CONTEXT provides data management and actionable intelligence in all major technology areas to customers such as Lenovo, HP and Microsoft.
"I'm particularly proud of the long-term business relationships across the world's IT industry that CONTEXT has established and maintained, which proves how the company has been able to grow and diversify as our customers embraced change. For example, our first subscription customer was EPSON in 1985, and the company is still with us today."
