In order to gain a comprehensive understanding of the education technology landscape in Southeast Asia, CONTEXT and BETT Asia joined forces to conduct a survey at the BETT Asia event in 2024. This survey aimed to gather insights from a wide range of stakeholders, including the Education Community, Ministry Level, and Technology Providers. Through the collaboration between CONTEXT and BETT Asia, the findings of this survey were compiled into a comprehensive report titled “Transforming Education with AI and EdTech in Southeast Asia”
This report provides a comprehensive view of Education Technology in
Southeast Asia, covering aspects such as:
Innovation: Examining the impact of AI on education and its
potential to transform teaching and learning.
Inclusion: Analyzing
how AI can promote inclusivity and equity in education.
Wellbeing:
Exploring how technology can enhance emotional, mental, and physical
health in educational environments.
Sustainability: Evaluating the
importance of sustainability in EduTech, including aspects such as
recyclability, component reuse, e-waste reduction, repairability,
energy efficiency, and sustainable packaging.
